Hello Again!

Hi all! I am so sorry it's taken me so long to get another post on here! Life has been so crazy and i haven't had much down time lately.
How was your guys' Thanksgiving? My family and I relaxed and just had a nice day filled with fun and plenty of food :)
I went deer hunting a few times this past week. Sadly, i didn't get anything. Probably would have gone back out but it has been raining for a few days and it's rather chilly outside. Plus i have been extremely tired and I almost fell asleep on my last day hunting so I decided to catch up on some sleep. Lol.
It's certainly getting colder here! But i rather enjoy the cooler weather. It's nice to be able to wear pants and a sweater and not be too hot! I hope it snows for Christmas! It usually does, and I hope it will this year! I always enjoy going outside and enjoying the beautiful white snow! And I enjoy finding all the different animal tracks in the snow and trying to track them for a bit :)
Well, I'll just sign off here, i suppose! I'm going to try my best to "blog" here every weekend. With the holidays coming up, things will be getting even busier but I'll try to start posting again. I've really missed coming on here and talking to you guys!!
    XOXO- BG

    Hello there.
Hiking is not in my arthritis vocabulary - ha ha. But we do live in a rural area and I sometimes go with my husband when he is deer hunting. He got a nice doe this year and we were given a huge buck. The freezer is well stocked.
Do you do black powder also? He likes it - I am undecided, but we bought me a basic, easy-to-use, camo color black powder rifle so am planning on trying as soon as the season opens.

    Hi MissouriFarmWife!
I don't use black powder, actually. I went for rifle season. I've thought about using black powder, but i haven't gotten around to it.
That's awesome that your husband got a doe. I had a buck(i don't know how large it was, i never got a chance to see if it had antlers. I only knew it was a buck because it made that throaty sound they make, which i don't know how to describe lol) that came by my deer blind but there was no way i could get a clear shot on it. I tried to line up my sights with it, but my chair(a bbucket with an attatched seat) squeaked and the buck ran off. I was not a very happy girl. But there is always next time :)
I wish you the best of luck when you go out!!
