Cyn's December Menu

  • pkllady 15 years ago
I've tried to post this but it hasn't gone through yet. Third try is now:
Laurie suggested I post my monthly menu to help people. You'll note I've got a weekly "planover" night. I purposely make extras at meals so they're not "leftovers" in our house. I've got through 12/24 done and I'm at a "burn out" moment; but, here's what's on schedule for the month:
    12/1 beef lo mein
12/2 chili, rice, & cucumber salad
    12/3 planovers
12/4 crockpot chicken and broccoli & cheese
    12/5 steak, mac-n-cheese, & green beans
    12/6 spaghetti & meatballs w/ veggies
    12/7 burgers, corn, & carrots

You could do a Taco Salad Night with homemade taco bowls.

Place each tortilla (9 inch) in a microwave-safe 7-in.-diameter shallow bowl, forming a shell. Spritz with butter spray. Microwave on high for 2 to 2-1/2 minutes or until crisp and lightly browned. Carefully remove from bowls to serving plates. Fill with toppings:)
