  Well, as I've said elsewhere, I'm not much of a cook - and I'm afraid I can't contribute a recipe just yet, but I'll work on it!
  
  I live in the Yukon and we're experiencing horrific weather today, with wind gusts up to Minus 45 (F and C!)
  
  I'm off to search for soups and casseroles that will keep me warm.

  Ah, but I'm at the 61st parallel in the sub-Arctic (beside Alaska)...so it's a bit more dramatic than most places. Am originally from Toronto, so I remember what it was like back East, where you are. *s* Has winter hit you yet?
