Squash Soup

This is another dish where I just went into the kitchen and just did whatever came to my mind. The result was a delicious soup.
I put measurements as a guideline but when I am in the kitchen, I really use my eyes and taste so do improvise according to your taste.

Mango Cheesecake

I have not tried this recipe yet. It is my brother's recipe (yes, he is a really good cook
- better than me).
According to him, it is great so I leave it to you to decide.

Potato Bhaji

This is an indian recipe my nanny taught me.
My brother and I used to sneak into her room when we were kids and she used to make it for us. My parents did not like us eating spicy food for some reason. In india, they eat it with dosa ( a rice pancake) or chapati or pourri and sometimes they stuff them inot parathas. Makes for a great reakfast. I plan to be creative and stuff them into phyllo pastry .

Greeen Bean Salad

This salad has garlic and I like to be generous with the garlic. The down side is that garlic does tend to have a pungent odour so I make it when I know I will not be seeing people. I just love the combination of garlic and lemon flavors in the dressing.

Bean Salad

Beans are healthy and a great source of fiber.
I learned this recipe this summer and it tastes great. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.

Zuchinni Mussaka

You can make it less fattening by grilling the zuchinnis instead of frying, but it tastes better fried.

Kibbeh With Peppers

I tend to cook by vision as opposed to measurements. Measures are a rough guide for me, but if my vision tells me that there is too much of an ingredient, I do not add all that the recipe calls for.
One such ingredient in this recipe is the burghul.
Adjust the burghul to what you feel is okay.

Fattouch

This is a delicious salad we make in the middle east. Different people make it differently, but the basic ingredients are the same. This is my version, feel free to improvise.
