Blt Bacon Leek And Tomato Salad

My husband just watched this recipe being made this weekend and absolutely had to try it! He was spot on about this crazy twist on the classic BLT. A tangy, zesty, filling, main-course salad that you won't be sorry you tried. This recipe is extremely easy to make and the ingredients are fresh and come together superbly!

Kielbasa Summer Salad

I know it's not summer yet, but I was craving sausage and apples back before Christmas and came across this recipe in my favorite book. I got the craving again today and just finished it up and into the fridge to chill it went. I hadn't been on here in awhile, so I decided to share this one. If your like me and are dreaming of warm things to come, give this one a try.....you'll be glad you didn't wait 4 more months!

Lets Go To The Store Menu 5

Hello everyone out there in food land. Thank goodness for rae760 this week or you fine people wouldn't have had any idea what to throw together!! Good work rae760 and thank you..........WONDERFUL MENU!!!!! This is now menu 5 for our group "Lets Go to The Store". This is a week's worth (7 dinner-time meals) of recipes and a grocery list, ready to print and go to the store. This week, my menu has three grilled recipes, (a steak-pinwheel recipe, a carolina pulled chicken recipe and a grilled sausage, caramelized onion and gruyere cheese recipe served with cornbread!!) There is also a pot roast recipe, a sweet and sour pork chop recipe, a chicken and peach sandwich recipe and a spicy beef pitza recipe (yes, that's spelled right....you'll have to check out the recipe to find out why!!!). This week started out to be all about the chicken but I just can't do it!! There are so many other meats to monopolize and chicken is sooooo overdone, still I managed to find a couple recipes that were "plain-chicken-challenged", so I posted them. I hope you guys gave rae760's menu a whirl and look to find more yummies from her in the future!! Have a super-wonderful-fantastic-tummy filled week ahead and sorry for the late week post this time around!!

Georgia Peach Chicken Sandwiches And Steak Fries

This couldn't be a better recipe for me to post, since I happen to be a georgia peach......a really, really big and ripe peach!! ;0) These sandwiches are so quick and different, what a marvelous taste combo. I'm always keeping my eyes out for the unusual and sometimes, as in this case, it pays off.....BIG TIME!!!! Make it even more simple and knock the whole meal out of the park with some of your favorite thick-cut steak fries. MMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spicy Beef Pitzas

This is a different spin on pizza. It's amazing but very spicy!! The cool garlic yogurt on top helps things along though. P.S. Ladies, you may want to make your husband sleep on the couch the night you make this one..........;0)

Carolina Pulled Barbecue Chicken

This is the best carolina pulled barbecue chicken that I've ever put in my mouth!! Jim and I don't even make the barbecue sauce and it still tastes awesome. We've made this recipe so many times that we should be growing feathers!! I looked before I posted this and saw a couple carolina pulled chicken recipes, but mine has a few different seasonings, so I posted anyway. Enjoy!!

Lets Go To The Store Menu 3

This is the third menu for my group, Lets Go to The Store. This is a list of recipes and groceries for a whole week (7 dinner-time meals). The list this week is smaller (and less expensive!!) than last week's (only about 54 or so items!!). Most of these recipes serve 4, some of them more. This week there is 1 grilling recipe with beef, a chicken dish, a pork dish, a sausage and shrimp dish, an eggplant dish, a ham and grits dish and a sausage stuffed green pepper dish. The recipes this week are as varied as the ingredients themselves and have wildly different tastes. I've decided to change the format just a tad. I'm going to try breaking the "grocery list" list down by categories. I hope you've enjoyed this group so far, but if you haven't found a menu to your liking yet, maybe this one will be your "favorite pair of blue jeans"!!!!
