Blums Coffee Crunch Cake

A crunch toping is made by cooking coffee and corn syrup, cooled, broken up and topped over a whipped cream frosted angelfood cake. There are a few versions of the recipe( for both cake and topping ) on the Net, The cake is described:
"A light sponge cake with just a hint of lemon and vanilla, it had rich heavy whipped cream spread thinly between the layers and on the sides and top; it was covered with crushed bittersweet coffee crunch candy." Sounds great!
Please note, the photo is not mine and was uploaded by an admirerer of this recipe.
The following recipe uses a storebought or home made sponge or angelfood cake.

Red Velvet Angel Food Cake

Adapted from a Weight Watchers recipe - delicious, rich and light at the same time, and gorgeous for Christmas or Valentine's Day! Like Sugar is a new, all-natural calorie-free sweetener I found, it's awesome and unlike Splenda has no aftertaste - you do have to measure by weight when replacing sugar though.

Strawberry Or Raspberry Trifle

From the Prepared Pantry:
This is a great spring or summer dessert. It’s simply a layers of fresh fruit, raspberry or strawberry cream, and cubed angel food cake, all topped with whipped cream. You can vary the ratios; just make it pretty and serve soon after assembly.

Lemon Angel Dessert

My mom makes this dessert using an angel food loaf pan, but I don't have such a pan, so I make my angel food in the traditional round pan - it will work either way. The filling/frosting for this dessert is so light and refreshing, and so easy to make, it's perfect in the summer when the days are hot and you don't want to bake something in the oven. Use a store bought angelf ood cake, make the filling, slice the cake, and you're ready to fill and chill!

An Angel Of An Anglefood Cake

I like to use this recipe when I taught baking classes- which uses cake flour, cream of tarter and 2 kinds of sugars. It makes a basic nice high cake with a good texture and always seems to come out well for anyone who tries it and has had angel food cake baking failures in the past.
A Basic Lovely Cake which can be used as a base for many other desserts
