Ingredients
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
TOPPING:
1 c sour cream
1/3 c white sugar
1/2 tsp lemon extract
4 c peeled & sliced pears
1/2 tsp almond extract
2 tbsps butter or margarine, melted
2 tbsps brown sugar
2 tbsps all-purpose flour
1/4 c all-purpose flour
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell
Directions
Step #1 Preheat the oven to 400F degrees F (200 degrees C).
Step #2 In a large bowl, stir this together the white sugar & 2 tbsps flour.
Step #3 Add pears, & toss to coat.
Step #4 Stir in the sour cream & vanilla, lemon & almond extracts until the pears are evenly coated.
Step #5 Pour into the unbaked pie shell.
Step #6 In a small bowl, mix together 1/4 c flour & brown sugar.
Step #7 Mix in the butter with your fingers until the mixture is crumbly.
Step #8 Sprinkle top evenly over the top of the pie.
Step #9 Bake for 10 mins in the preheated oven, then reduce the temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Step #10 Bake for an extra 45 mins, or until pears are tender.
