Step #1 Combine butter or margarine, molasses, & unsweetened chocolate in the top of a double boiler.
Step #2 Heat until chocolate melts.
Step #3 Stir until smooth.
Step #4 Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, 2/3 c sugar, ginger, & salt.
Step #5 Stir in melted chocolate mixture & milk.
Step #6 Mix well.
Step #7 Chill until firm.
Step #8 Roll dough into 1 inch balls.
Step #9 Roll balls in sugar.
Step #10 Place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Step #11 Bake at 375 degrees F ( 190 degrees C) for about 10 mins.
