Chocolate Chip Snack Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 (18.25 oz) package yellow cake mix
  • confectioners' sugar
  • 1 (4 oz) bar German sweet chocolate, grated, divided
  • 1/2 c vegetable oil
  • 1 (12 oz) package miniature semisweet chocolate chips
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c water

Directions
  • Step #1 In a mixing bowl, mix the first five ingredients; beat for 5 mins.
  • Step #2 Stir in chocolate chips & half of the grated chocolate.
  • Step #3 Pour into a greased 13-in.
  • Step #4 x 9-in.
  • Step #5 x 2-in.
  • Step #6 baking pan.
  • Step #7 Bake at 350 degrees F for 45-50 mins or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
  • Step #8 Sprinkle top with remaining grated chocolate while slightly warm.
  • Step #9 Cool completely.
  • Step #10 Dust with confectioners' sugar.
