Cinnamon Nut Loaf Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/3 c finely sliced pecans or walnuts
  • 2 (7.5 oz) packages put in the fridged buttermilk biscuits
  • 3 tbsps butter, melted
  • 1/4 c sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 2 tsps ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 c confectioners' sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 In a small bowl, sugar, mix the nuts, butter & cinnamon.
  • Step #2 Separate biscuits; flatten slightly.
  • Step #3 Place about 1/2 tsp of nut mixture on one side of each biscuit; fold other side over filling.
  • Step #4 Press edges with a fork to seal.
  • Step #5 Forming five rows, arrange biscuits folded side down in a greased 8-in.
  • Step #6 x 4-in.
  • Step #7 x 2-in.
  • Step #8 loaf pan.
  • Step #9 Spoon remaining nut mixture over top.
  • Step #10 Bake at 350 degrees F for 25-30 mins or until golden brown.
  • Step #11 Cool for 10 mins before removing from pan to a wire rack.
  • Step #12 Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix confectioners' sugar & milk; drizzle over warm bread.
  • Step #13 Cut into slices or pull apart.
