- 1 c dates, pitted & sliced
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsps vanilla extract
- 1 c butter
- 2 1/2 c all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 c white sugar
- 1 c sugar frosted corn flake cereal
Directions
- Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Step #2 Combine flour & baking soda in a small mixing bowl.
- Step #3 Cream butter, brown sugar, vanilla & white sugar together.
- Step #4 Beat in eggs.
- Step #5 Mix well.
- Step #6 Slowly mix in the flour mixture.
- Step #7 Fold in the dates.
- Step #8 Drop dough by tspful into crushed corn flake cereal until coated.
- Step #9 Bake on ungreased cookie sheets for 10 to 15 mins.
