Easy Sesame Green Beans Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c chicken broth .
  • 1/4 tsp salt .
  • black pepper (to taste) .
  • 1 lb fresh green beans, cut into 2 inch pieces .
  • 1 tbsp olive oil .
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat oil in large skillet or wok over med-heat/flame.
  • Step #2 Add sesame seeds.
  • Step #3 When seeds start to darken, stir in the green beans.
  • Step #4 Cook, stirring until the beans turn bright green.
  • Step #5 (I never notice a "bright green" color, I just cook about 10 mins or so.
  • Step #6 ).
  • Step #7 Pour in chicken broth, salt, & pepper.
  • Step #8 Cover up & cook this until beans are tender-crisp, about 10 mins.
  • Step #9 (I like mine much more done -- about 30 mins!) Uncover & cook this until liquid evaporates.
  • Step #10 You can serve these hot like normal, but I even like these babies cold! ;-).
