Hash Brown Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 c shredded cheddar cheese .
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz) can cream of mushroom soup .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 1/4 c butter or margarine, melted .
  • 2 c sour cream .
  • 1/2 c sliced onions .
  • pepper .
  • 1 (1.5-2 lb) package frozen hash brown potatoes

Directions
  • Step #1 Butter a 9x13 baking dish.
  • Step #2 Break up frozen hash browns & put into dish.
  • Step #3 In a bowl, onion, mix the sour cream, salt, cheese, soup, pepper & butter or margarine.
  • Step #4 Pour the mixture over the potatoes & mix well.
  • Step #5 Bake in a 350° oven for 1 hr, or until lightly browned on the top.
  • Step #6 May be assembled ahead & baked just before serving.
