Chicken Liver Pate Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 lb chicken livers, trimmed & sliced
  • 1/3 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • hot sauce to taste
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp sliced onion
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled & sliced
  • 2 tbsps dry sherry
  • 1 tbsp butter

Directions
  • Step #1 Melt butter in a medium saucepan over med-heat/flame.
  • Step #2 Stir in garlic, onion & chicken livers.
  • Step #3 Reduce heat to low, & let simmer approximately 10 mins, until chicken livers are tender & no longer pink.
  • Step #4 Place chicken liver mixture in a mixer with dry sherry, hot sauce, cream cheese, salt & pepper.
  • Step #5 Blend until smooth.
  • Step #6 Transfer to a medium bowl, cover & chill in the refrigerator approximately 2 hrs before serving.
