Step #1 In large bowl, mix all ingredients except flour & colored sugar; beat until light & fluffy.
Step #2 Add flour; mix well.
Step #3 Shape dough into 3 disks.
Step #4 Wrap dough in plastic wrap; put in the fridge 1 hr for easier handling.
Step #5 Heat oven to 375°F On floured surface, roll out 1 disk of dough at a time to 1/8-inch thickness.
Step #6 (Keep remaining dough put in the fridged.
Step #7 ) Cut with lightly floured 2 1/2-inch round or desired shape cookie cutters.
Step #8 Place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
Step #9 Decorate with colored sugar.
Step #10 Bake at 375°F for 6 to 10 mins or until light golden brown.
Step #11 Immediately remove this from cookie sheets.
Step #12 If desired, frost & decorate plain cookies.
