Gorgonzola Ziti Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c sliced green onions, DIVIDED .
  • 4 oz gorgonzola, crumbled .
  • 1/2 tsp white pepper .
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder .
  • 1 c evaporated milk .
  • 1/2 c Italian seasoned breadcrumbs .
  • 2 tbsps sweet butter, melted .
  • 8 oz cream cheese, cut into cubes .
  • 16 oz ziti pasta .
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions
  • Step #1 Cook pasta according to package directions.
  • Step #2 Drain.
  • Step #3 Meanwhile, mix bread crumbs, 4 tbsps green onions & butter in small bowl.
  • Step #4 Set aside.
  • Step #5 Place remaining green onions, milk, cream cheese & Gorgonzola cheese in 12-inch nonstick skillet.
  • Step #6 Cook over medium-high heat, stirring every once in awhile, until cheese is melted--about 3 mins.
  • Step #7 Remove from heat.
  • Step #8 Add cooked pasta, pepper, salt, & garlic powder; mix lightly.
  • Step #9 Sprinkle top with bread crumb mixture.
  • Step #10 Serve as soon as possible.
