Tagliatelle With Veal Ragout Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 (400 g) cans whole canned tomatoes .
  • 3 tbsps sliced fresh flat leaf parsley .
  • 2 tsps sliced fresh oregano .
  • 80 ml olive oil .
  • fresh parmesan cheese, to serve .
  • 1 garlic clove, peeled & crushed .
  • 500 g tagliatelle pasta noodles .
  • 320 g veal fillets, cut into thin strips .
  • salt & pepper .
  • 2 tsps sliced fresh basil

Directions
  • Step #1 Cook tomatoes In a large-ish pot over low heat/flame for 15 mins.
  • Step #2 Stir in herbs & season to taste.
  • Step #3 Cook pasta until al dente.
  • Step #4 Meanwhile heat olive oil in pan.
  • Step #5 Add garlic, veal & pepper to taste & fry for 1 1/2 mins.
  • Step #6 Reduce heat, add tomato sauce & pasta.
  • Step #7 Toss well & check seasonings.
