Ingredients
  • 1/4 tsp pepper .
  • 1/4 tsp caraway seeds .
  • 1/4 tsp salt .
  • 1 tbsp paprika .
  • 2 tbsps parsley .
  • 2 tbsps cooking oil .
  • 1 (12 oz) can beer .
  • 3/4 c water .
  • 1 (9 oz) can sauerkraut, not drained .
  • 1 lb stewing beef, cut into 1 cubes .
  • 1 medium onion, sliced .
  • 1/4 c tomato paste .
  • 3 potatoes, cut into 1 cubes

Directions
  • Step #1 Cook meat & onion in hot cooking oil until the meat is browned in a dutch oven.
  • Step #2 Add beer, caraway seed, water, paprika, tomato paste, salt & pepper.
  • Step #3 Cover up & summer for 1 ½ hrs.
  • Step #4 Add potatoes, parsley & sauerkraut.
  • Step #5 Cook covered for 30 mins.
