Ingredients
2/3 c sugar
1 c packed brown sugar
2 c sliced fresh or frozen cranberries
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
2 eggs
1 c sliced walnuts
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/4 c butter (no substitutions), softened
1/4 tsp almond extract
3 1/4 c all-purpose flour
Directions
Step #1 In a mixing bowl, cream butter & sugars.
Step #2 Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Step #3 Beat in extracts.
Step #4 Combine the flour, baking powder, salt & baking soda; slowly add to the creamed mixture.
Step #5 Stir in walnuts.
Step #6 Carefully stir in the cranberries.
Step #7 Shape into three 7-in.
Step #8 rolls; wrap each roll in plastic wrap & put in the fridge for 4 hrs or overnight.
Step #9 Cut into 1/4-in.
Step #10 slices & place 1 in.
Step #11 apart on ungreased baking sheets.
Step #12 Bake at 375 degrees F for 10-12 mins or until golden brown.
Step #13 Cool on wire racks.
