1 c almond toffee bits or chocolate-covered toffee bits .
1 (16 oz) box confectioners' sugar .
1 tsp pure vanilla extract .
1 large egg .
Filling .
1 (18 1/4 oz) box yellow cake mix
Directions
Step #1 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees; lightly grease a 13 by 9 by-2-inch baking pan.
Step #2 For the cake: In the bowl of an electric mixer, egg, mix the cake mix, & butter & mix well; pat into the bottom of prepared pan & set aside.
Step #3 For thr filling: Still using an electric mixer, beat the cream cheese until smooth; beat in the eggs & vanilla; dump in confectioners' sugar & beat well.
Step #4 Reduce the speed & slowly pour in butter, mix well; Fold in toffee bits.
Step #5 Pour filling onto cake mixture & spread evenly; bake for 40 to 50 mins; Don't be afraid to make a judjment call on the cooking time, cut into squares, so don't bake it past that point!
Remove from oven & allow this to cool completly, because oven temperatures can vary; you want the center to be a little GOOEY, Enjoy.
