Chicken Pasta Saladi Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c sliced green olives
  • 1 c shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 (10 oz) package frozen corn kernels
  • 1/2 lb rotini/corkscrew pasta
  • 1 stalk celery, sliced
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 3/4 c Italian-style salad dressing
  • 1/2 c mayonnaise
  • 1 c canned chicken meat - drained & flaked
  • 1/4 c minced onion

Directions
  • Step #1 Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
  • Step #2 Add pasta & cook for 8 to 10 mins or until al dente; drain & rinse with cool water.
  • Step #3 Pour into a large dish.
  • Step #4 Combine mushrooms, celery, cheese, onion, olives, corn & green bell pepper with pasta; mix well.
  • Step #5 In a small bowl, whisk together dressing & mayonnaise; pour dressing over salad & toss again to coat.
  • Step #6 Gently mix in flaked chicken; put in the fridge for a few hrs or serve.
