Polish Jam Kolaches Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c strawberry jam .
  • 1 1/4 c all-purpose flour .
  • 1/4 c sifted confectioners' sugar .
  • 3 oz cream cheese, softened .
  • 1/2 c butter, softened

Directions
  • Step #1 1.
  • Step #2 Beat butter or margarine & cream cheese in mixer bowl until light & fluffy.
  • Step #3 Add flour slowly, beating well after each addition.
  • Step #4 2.
  • Step #5 Roll dough to 1/8 inch thickness on lightly floured surface.
  • Step #6 Cut into 2-inch circles.
  • Step #7 Spoon 1/4 tsp jam into center of each circle.
  • Step #8 Fold opposite edges together, slightly overlapping edges.
  • Step #9 3.
  • Step #10 Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
  • Step #11 Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 15 mins.
  • Step #12 Remove to wire rack to cool.
  • Step #13 Sprinkle top with confectioners' sugar.
