Asparagus & Egg Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 lb asparagus, cut in 1 inch pieces .
  • 1 c cheddar cheese, sliced .
  • 1 c milk .
  • 4 hard-boiled eggs, sliced .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 2 slices buttered bread, broken into crumbs .
  • 2 tbsps butter (for topping) .
  • 2 tbsps butter .
  • 2 tbsps flour

Directions
  • Step #1 Put half the buttered crumbs in a greased baking dish.
  • Step #2 Spread cooked asparagus pieces over the crumbs, & the 4 hard-cooked egg slices over the asparagus.
  • Step #3 Blend butter, flour, salt & milk with cheese & pour over all.
  • Step #4 Top with remaining breadcrumbs mixed with the butter for topping.
  • Step #5 Bake 350F 30 mins.
