Buried Ham Recipe

Ingredients
  • salt & pepper .
  • 3/4 lb macaroni .
  • 1/2 lb ham .
  • 2 egg yolks .
  • 2 oz cheese, grated .
  • 1/2 c sour cream

Directions
  • Step #1 Bring salted water to the boil & carefully add the macaroni.
  • Step #2 Cook until tender, that is about 10 to 15 mins.
  • Step #3 Strain & while still in the sieve pass quickly under cold running water.
  • Step #4 Chop the ham into small pieces, then put with the macaroni in a casserole.
  • Step #5 Spice up with salt & pepper.
  • Step #6 Beat the eggs & the cream together & pour over the macaroni.
  • Step #7 Sprinkle top with cheese, & bake in a 350F oven until the sauce has cooked & become a light brown.
