Step #1 Heat oven to 375°F.
Step #2 Mix sugars, butter & egg in large bowl.
Step #3 Stir in flour, baking soda & salt (dough will be stiff).
Step #4 Stir in nuts & chocolate chips.
Step #5 Drop dough by rounded tbspfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Step #6 Bake 8 to 10 mins or until light brown (centers will be soft).
Step #7 Cool slightly; remove this from cookie sheet.
Step #8 Cool on wire rack.
