Cheesy Sun Crisps Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c parmesan cheese (grated) .
  • 1 c quick oats .
  • 2/3 c sunflower seeds (roasted, salted) .
  • 1/4 c sunflower margarine (softened) .
  • 2 c cheddar cheese (shredded) .
  • 1 c all-purpose flour .
  • 1/4 tsp salt .
  • 3 tbsps water

Directions
  • Step #1 Beat cheeses, margarine & water in large bowl until well mixed.
  • Step #2 Add flour & salt; mix well.
  • Step #3 Stir in oats & sunflower kernels; mix until well mixd.
  • Step #4 Shape dough into 12" long roll; wrap securely.
  • Step #5 Refrigerate about 4 hrs (dough may be stored up to a week in refrigerator).
  • Step #6 Preheat oven to 400F degrees & lightly grease cookie sheets.
  • Step #7 Cut roll this into 1/8 to 1/4 inch slices; flatten each slice slightly.
  • Step #8 Place on prepared cookie sheets.
  • Step #9 Bake 8-10 mins or until edges are light golden brown.
  • Step #10 Remove as soon as possible; cool on wire rack.
