Chocolate Chip Toll House Cookies Recipe

Step #1 Set oven to 375°.
Step #2 Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper, or lightly grease with vegetable oil or butter (no non-stick vegetable sprays!).
Step #3 In a bowl, sift together flour, baking soda & salt.
Step #4 In another bowl, Crisco shortening, using an electric mixer cream butter, both sugars & vanilla until fluffy (about 2 mins).
Step #5 Add in eggs & beat on medium speed until mixed (about 1 min).
Step #6 Add in the flour mixture, & beat until mixed (about 30 seconds).
Step #7 Add in chocolate chips, nuts & toffee bits; mix to mix.
Step #8 Drop the dough by tbsps (equivalent to about 3 tbsps).
Step #9 Bake the cookies centers are slightly puffed up (about 11-12 mins).
Step #10 Remove the cookies from the oven & allow this to cool on the baking sheet.
