Swirled Milk Chocolate & Caramel Morsel Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp baking soda .
  • 1 tsp salt .
  • 2 large eggs .
  • Nestle milk chocolate & caramel swirled morsels .
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract .
  • 1 c sliced pecans .
  • 2 1/4 c all-purpose flour .
  • 1 c butter, softened .
  • 3/4 c granulated sugar .
  • 3/4 c packed brown sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 PREHEAT oven to 350°F COMBINE flour, baking soda & salt in small bowl.
  • Step #2 Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar & vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy.
  • Step #3 Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Step #4 Gradually beat in flour mixture.
  • Step #5 Stir in 1 c morsels (THE MORSELS ARE THE NEW TOLL HOUSE SWIRLED MILK CHOCOLATE & CARAMEL MORSELS) (set aside remaining morsels) & nuts.
  • Step #6 Drop dough by rounded tbsp onto ungreased baking sheets.
  • Step #7 Top dollops with remaining morsels.
  • Step #8 BAKE for 11 to 13 mins or until golden brown.
  • Step #9 Cool on baking sheets for 2 mins; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
  • Step #10 Makes about 4 1/2 dozen cookies.
  • Step #11 PAN COOKIE VARIATION:.
  • Step #12 Grease 15 x 10-inch jelly-roll pan.
  • Step #13 Prepare dough as above, stirring in 1 c morsels.
  • Step #14 Spread into prepared pan.
  • Step #15 Sprinkle top with remaining morsels.
  • Step #16 Bake for 20 to 25 mins or until golden brown.
  • Step #17 Cool in pan on wire rack.
  • Step #18 Makes 4 dozen bars * NOTE: If omitting nuts, add 1 to 2 tbsps of all-purpose flour.
