Mustard Pork Chops Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tsps worcestershire sauce .
  • 1 onion, finely sliced .
  • 2 tbsps oil .
  • sliced parsley .
  • 1/2 c chicken stock .
  • 4 (200 g) pork loin chops .
  • 1/2 c cream (I use low fat) .
  • cracked black pepper .
  • 4 tsps Dijon mustard (heaped) .
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed .
  • 1/2 c white wine

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 190c/350f.
  • Step #2 Sprinkle top each chop with cracked pepper to taste.
  • Step #3 Heat the oil over medium high heat & brown chops well on both sides; remove to a plate.
  • Step #4 Reduce the heat a little & add the onion & garlic: cook this until golden & softened-about 5 mins.
  • Step #5 Add the wine,scraping up all the brown bits off the bottom of the pan.
  • Step #6 Add the mustard, stock & cream, & bring to the boil, Worchestershire sauce, stirring to mix.
  • Step #7 Return the chops to the pan, cover with a lid & place this in the pre heated oven.
  • Step #8 Cook for about 45 mins or unil tender.
  • Step #9 Remove chops to a warm plate, & reduce the sauce over a medium heat until a nice sauce consistency.
  • Step #10 Serve over the chops with a sprinkle of fresh sliced parsley.
