Cream Cheese Won Tons Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 (8 oz) cans water chestnuts, drained
  • 1 (14 oz) package small won ton wrappers
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 (6.5 oz) can minced clams
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 3 c vegetable oil for frying

Directions
  • Step #1 In a medium-sized mixing bowl, water chestnuts, green onions, mix cream cheese, clams, paprika & ground black pepper.
  • Step #2 Place about 1 tsp of filling into the won ton skin & seal corner to corner forming a triangle.
  • Step #3 In a large skillet, heat oil to a high temperature.
  • Step #4 Fry the won tons until they are browned on both sides.
  • Step #5 Drain on paper towels & serve hot.
