Apple Cinnamon Cream Cheese Cake Recipe

Step #1 Set oven to 350 degrees.
Step #2 Set oven rack to second-lowest position.
Step #3 Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
Step #4 In a bowl beat together cream cheese with 1-1/2 c sugar, butter, almond extract & vanilla (about 3-4 mins) until well mixed.
Step #5 Add in eggs; beat until mixed.
Step #6 Combine the flour, baking powder & salt.
Step #7 Add to the creamed mixture on lowish speed until mixed.
Step #8 In a bowl mix the remaining 1/4 c sugar & the 2-1/2 tsps cinnamon.
Step #9 Take 2 tbsps of the cinnamon/sugar mixture & mix with the sliced apples.
Step #10 Stir the apple mixture into batter.
Step #11 Transfer the batter to prepared pan.
Step #12 Sprinkle top with remaining cinnamon/sugar mixture on top.
Step #13 Bake for about 1 hr, or until cake pulls away from the pan & tests done.
