Chicken Susan Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 stalks celery, sliced
  • 4 chicken breast halves with skin & bone, steamed
  • 2 (8 oz) packages fine egg noodles
  • 2 c chicken stock
  • 1/2 lb Swiss cheese, cubed
  • 2 c sliced fresh mushrooms

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 400F degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Step #2 Place cooked egg noodles in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Step #3 Add cheese, mushrooms & celery & mix well; pour in chicken stock.
  • Step #4 (Note: If level of chicken stock cannot be seen through noodles, add more until it can.
  • Step #5 ) Place chicken breasts on top of noodle mixture, bone side down.
  • Step #6 Bake at 400F degrees F (200 degrees C) for 30 mins, or until skin is brown & crisp & chicken juices run clear.
