Chicken Dijon Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsps all-purpose flour
  • 3 tbsps butter
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 c half-and-half cream
  • 2 tbsps Dijon-style prepared mustard
  • 1 c chicken broth

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large skillet, brown chicken in butter/margarine for about 15 to 20 mins or until cooked through & juices run clear.
  • Step #2 Remove from skillet & place on a warm oven-proof platter.
  • Step #3 Preheat oven to 150 degrees F (65 degrees C).
  • Step #4 Stir flour into skillet drippings.
  • Step #5 Add broth & deglaze skillet by stirring vigorously until flour is somewhat dissolved & liquid has the consistency of a sauce.
  • Step #6 Add cream.
  • Step #7 Simmer, stirring, over moderate heat for about 10 mins until sauce is a little thick.
  • Step #8 Stir in mustard & heat through.
  • Step #9 Pour mustard sauce over chicken breasts.
  • Step #10 Put platter in warm preheated oven for about 10 to 15 mins, then serve!.
