Confiture De Lait (milk Jam) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 vanilla pod, cut in two .
  • 1 kg sugar, with pectin .
  • 1 kg sugar .
  • 3 tbsps vanilla sugar .
  • 2 liters full-cream milk

Directions
  • Step #1 Pour the milk in a casserole, add sugar & vanilla sugar & stir carefully.
  • Step #2 Add the vanilla pods & let simmer, stirring frequently.
  • Step #3 The milk will get a caramelly color after a while.
  • Step #4 You have to get a golden caramel color for it to be done.
  • Step #5 Drip some on a little plate, if the jam sets instantly, it's ready.
  • Step #6 Poor into sterilized jars, close the lids & put upside down until the next day.
