Ingredients
1 (3 oz) package cream cheese, softened .
1 dash salt .
1 tbsp all-purpose flour .
1 c all-purpose flour .
1/2 c butter or margarine, softened .
Filling .
1 c blue cheese, crumbled .
1 egg, beaten .
Tart Shells .
1 (5 oz) can evaporated milk .
1/4 c sliced walnuts .
2 drops hot sauce
Directions
Step #1 For the tarts:.
Step #2 Combine cream cheese & butter, mixing well.
Step #3 Stir in flou; chill in the fridge.
Step #4 Shape dough into 24 (1-inch) balls.
Step #5 Place each ball into individual wells of ungreased 1 3/4-inch muffin pans, pressing dough onto bottom of sides to form shells.
Step #6 Set aside.
Step #7 Preheat oven to 425F degrees F.
Step #8 For the Filling:.
Step #9 Combine bleu cheese & flour; spoon evenly into tart shells.
Step #10 Combine egg, salt, milk, & hot sauce; spoon evenly over bleu cheese mixture in tart shells.
Step #11 Sprinkle top with walnuts.
Step #12 Bake at 425F F for 7 mins.
Step #13 Reduce oven temperature to 300F degrees F, & bake an extra 17 mins or until set.
