Ingredients
Crust .
1 (18 oz) box duncun hines moist deluxe yellow cake mix or devil's food cake mix .
1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling .
1 tsp vanilla extract .
1 1/4 c sour cream .
Cheese filling .
1/2 c butter, melted .
Topping .
2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened .
3/4 c sugar .
1/4 c sugar .
3 eggs
Directions
Step #1 Preheat oven to 350.
Step #2 Place 2 1/2 inch paper or foil wrap liners in 24 muffin c.
Step #3 For crust, mix dry cake mix & melted butter in large bowl.
Step #4 Beat at a lowish speed with an electric mixer for one min (mixture will be crumbly).
Step #5 Divide mixture evenly in muffin c (level but do not press).
Step #6 For filling, mix cream cheese, eggs, 3/4 c sugar & vanilla extract in a medium bowl.
Step #7 Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth.
Step #8 spoon evenly into muffin c.
Step #9 Bake at 350 for 20 mins or until mixture is set.
Step #10 For topping, mix sour cream & 1/4 c sugar in a small bowl.
Step #11 Spoon evenly over cheesecakes.
Step #12 Return to oven for 5 mins.
Step #13 Let cool for 15 mins.
Step #14 Garnish each cheesecake with cherry pie filling.
Step #15 Refrigerate until ready to serve.
