Ingredients
1/2 c blanched almonds, ground fine .
2 c sifted flour .
1 c butter .
1 tsp almond extract .
1/2 c sifted powdered sugar .
1 egg yolk
Directions
Step #1 Cream butter & sugar very well.
Step #2 Add egg yolk & extract.
Step #3 Stir in almonds & flour a little at a time until dough is smooth & not too firm.
Step #4 Shape with a cookie press into rings or “S” shapes on buttered cookie sheets.
Step #5 Bake at 375 for 8-10 mins til golden yellow in color.
Step #6 Let cookies cook on sheet.
