Step #1 thoroughly mix the shortening, cornstarch & flour until it forms a paste.
Step #2 add the glycerin & stir again until the mixture becomes smooth & spreadable.
Step #3 add food coloring one drop at a time until you get the color you like.
Step #4 for easy paint removal later -- smooth a dab of cold cream on the child's face before painting.
Step #5 use cotton swabs to cream simple designs such as sun, heart, football, daisy & others -- homemade face paint washes off with soap & water.
