Oven Baked Golden Potato Wedges Recipe

Ingredients
  • salt & black pepper (to taste) .
  • 2 tbsps olive oil .
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme .
  • 2 baking potatoes, unpeeled

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat the oven to 425°.
  • Step #2 Scrub the potatoes, cut them in half lengthwise, then cut each half in thirds lengthwise.
  • Step #3 You'll have 6 long wedges from each potato.
  • Step #4 Place the potatoes on a sheet pan with the olive oil, pepper, salt, & thyme.
  • Step #5 Toss all the ingredients together, making sure the potatoes are covered with oil.
  • Step #6 Spread the potatoes in a single layer with 1 cut-side down.
  • Step #7 Bake the potatoes for 35 to 40 mins, turning to the other cut side after 20 mins.
  • Step #8 Bake until they are lightly browned, crisp outside, & tender inside.
  • Step #9 Sprinkle top with extra salt, if desired.
