Onion Barley Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 c water .
  • 1/2 c medium barley .
  • 1 tbsp oil .
  • 1 tsp beef bouillon granules .
  • 1/4 tsp salt (optional) .
  • 1/2 c sliced green onions .
  • 1 (4 oz) can button mushrooms

Directions
  • Step #1 In an ovenproof skillet, saute barley in oil until golden brown.
  • Step #2 Stir in water, boullion & salt.
  • Step #3 Bring to a boil.
  • Step #4 Remove from the heat, add onions & mushrooms.
  • Step #5 Cover up & bake this at 350 F for 40 to 50 mins or until barley is tender.
