Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp butter .
  • 12 slices day-old French bread .
  • 1 1/2 tsps cinnamon .
  • 1/2 c honey .
  • 1/8 tsp salt .
  • 6 eggs .
  • 1 c milk .
  • diamond glazed walnuts or pecans

Directions
  • Step #1 Slice day old French Bread 3/4 inch thick.
  • Step #2 In large bowl, milk, beat together honey, eggs, cinnamon & salt.
  • Step #3 Dip bread slices in egg mixture, turning to coat.
  • Step #4 Brown soaked slices in butter over med-heat/flame, turning once.
  • Step #5 Serve with honey & sprinkle with walnuts or pecans, if desired.
