Ingredients
1 tbsp butter .
12 slices day-old French bread .
1 1/2 tsps cinnamon .
1/2 c honey .
1/8 tsp salt .
6 eggs .
1 c milk .
diamond glazed walnuts or pecans
Directions
Step #1 Slice day old French Bread 3/4 inch thick.
Step #2 In large bowl, milk, beat together honey, eggs, cinnamon & salt.
Step #3 Dip bread slices in egg mixture, turning to coat.
Step #4 Brown soaked slices in butter over med-heat/flame, turning once.
Step #5 Serve with honey & sprinkle with walnuts or pecans, if desired.
