Step #1 Preheat oven to 300F degrees F (150 degrees C).
Step #2 Line a tube pan with 2 layers of brown paper, & grease well.
Step #3 In a large bowl, baking powder, whisk together flour, & salt.
Step #4 Mix in raisins, nuts, pineapple, cherries, dates, & coconut.
Step #5 Stir until all fruit is coated.
Step #6 In another large bowl, cream the butter or margarine with the white sugar.
Step #7 Add lemon rind, lemon juice, & eggs; mix well.
Step #8 Stir in fruit mixture.
Step #9 Spread batter into prepared pan.
Step #10 Bake for 2 hrs.
Step #11 Cool.
