Bread Machine Honey Glazed Rolls Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 tsps salt .
  • 3 1/2 c bread flour .
  • 2 1/4 tsps active dry yeast .
  • 1 large egg .
  • 1 c lukewarm milk .
  • extra honey (optional) .
  • 1/2 c vegetable oil .
  • 1 tbsp honey .
  • 1 large egg white .
  • 1/3 c sugar .
  • Glaze .
  • 2 tbsps butter or margarine, melted .
  • 2 tbsps honey .
  • 1 large egg yolk

Directions
  • Step #1 In bread machine pan, place the first eight ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer.
  • Step #2 Select dough setting, making sure to check dough after 5 mins & adding water or flour if needed.
  • Step #3 When cycle is completed, turn dough onto a lightly floured surface.
  • Step #4 Punch down; cover & let rest for 10 mins.
  • Step #5 Divide into 24 pieces; shape each into a ball.
  • Step #6 Place 12 balls each in two greased glass 8 inch square baking pans.
  • Step #7 Cover up & let rise in warm place until doubled, about 30 mins.
  • Step #8 For glaze, honey, butter, mix sugar, & egg white; drizzle over dough.
  • Step #9 Bake at 350° for 18-24 mins or until golden brown.
  • Step #10 (Every oven is different so check earlier rather than later to prevent over browning).
  • Step #11 Brush with extra honey if desired.
