Donut Bread Pudding With Butter Rum Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 lb confectioners' sugar .
  • 1-2 tsp ground cinnamon .
  • 2 dozen doughnuts .
  • 1 pinch salt .
  • 2 eggs, beaten .
  • 1/2 c butter .
  • Butter Rum Sauce .
  • 2 tbsps rum (to taste) .
  • 1 (9 oz) box raisins (optional) .
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk .
  • 2 (4 1/2 oz) cans fruit cocktail, undrained

Directions
  • Step #1 For the pudding, cube donuts & place this in large casserole dishes coated with cooking spray.
  • Step #2 Combine all other pudding ingredients & pour over donuts.
  • Step #3 Let sit for 10 - 15 mins so that the donuts soak up the custard/fruit mixture.
  • Step #4 Bake pudding at 350 degrees for about an hr.
  • Step #5 For the butter rum sauce, melt butter & slowly add confectioners sugar & rum.
  • Step #6 Heat until bubbly & serve over pudding.
