Peach-glazed Spareribs Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c vegetable oil .
  • 3-4 lbs spareribs .
  • 1 (15 oz) can cling peach halves, drained .
  • 1/4 c honey .
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds .
  • 1 garlic clove .
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger .
  • 1/3 c soy sauce .
  • 2 tbsps brown sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 Position knife blade in food processor/blender bowl; top this with cover.
  • Step #2 Drop garlic through food chute with processor running; process about 3 seconds or until garlic is finely sliced.
  • Step #3 Add peaches, & process until smooth.
  • Step #4 Add soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame seeds, oil, honey, & ginger; process 30 seconds.
  • Step #5 Set mixture aside.
  • Step #6 Cut ribs into serving-size pieces; place this In a large-ish Dutch oven.
  • Step #7 Cover up ribs with water.
  • Step #8 Bring water to a boil; cover, reduce heat, & let simmer 30 mins.
  • Step #9 Drain well.
  • Step #10 Grill ribs, 5 inches from heat, over slow coals, 45 mins or until desired degree of doneness, turning frequently.
  • Step #11 Brush ribs with sauce druing last 15 mins of grilling.
  • Step #12 Serve with remaining sauce.
