Peanut Chocolate Parfait Dessert Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c peanuts .
  • Crust .
  • Filling .
  • 1 1/2 c powdered sugar .
  • 3/4 c peanuts .
  • Topping .
  • 1 (8 oz) container frozen whipped topping, thawed .
  • 1 5/8 oz milk chocolate candy bars, chilled, grated .
  • 1/4 c milk .
  • 1/2 c butter, melted .
  • 1 egg .
  • 1 (18 1/4 oz) package devil's food cake mix with pudding .
  • 3/4 c peanut butter .
  • 1 (5 1/8 oz) package instant vanilla flavor pudding & pie filling or vegetarian instant vanilla pudding mix .
  • 2 1/2 c milk .
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat oven to 350.
  • Step #2 Grease & flour bottom only of 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
  • Step #3 In large bowl, mix all crust ingredients at medium speed until well mixed.
  • Step #4 Spread evenly in greased & floured pan.
  • Step #5 Bake at 350 for 20-25 mins.
  • Step #6 DO NOT OVERBAKE.
  • Step #7 Cool.
  • Step #8 In small bowl, mix peanut butter, & powdered sugar at lowish speed until crumbly; set aside.
  • Step #9 In large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
  • Step #10 Add milk, whipping topping & pudding mix; beat at lowish speed 2 mins until well mixed.
  • Step #11 Pour half of cream cheese mixture over cooled, baked crust.
  • Step #12 Sprinkle top with half of peanut butter mixture.
  • Step #13 Repeat with remaining cream cheese & peanut butter mixtures.
  • Step #14 Sprinkle top with 1/2 cy of peanuts; carefully press into filling.
  • Step #15 Sprinkle top with grated chocolate.
  • Step #16 Cover up; put in the fridge or freeze until serving time.
  • Step #17 If frozen, let this stand at about room temp for 15 mins before serving.
  • Step #18 Store in refrigerator or freezer.
