Potatoes In Cream-wine Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 medium red potatoes, peeled & thinly sliced .
  • 2 tbsps butter or margarine, melted .
  • 1/4 tsp salt .
  • 3/4 c shredded mozzarella cheese .
  • 2/3 c milk .
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour .
  • 1 medium onion, sliced .
  • 1/4 c dry white wine .
  • 1/2 tsp sugar .
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions
  • Step #1 Saute potatoes & salt in butter In a large-ish skillet for 10 mins, turning every once in awhile with a spatula.
  • Step #2 Place remaining ingredients except wine in the container of an electric mixer; process until smooth.
  • Step #3 Pour mixture from the mixer over the potatoes in skillet; cover & cook over medium-low heat for 5 mins, stirring every once in awhile.
  • Step #4 Stir in wine, & cook an extra 5 mins, or until potatoes are tender.
