Chocolate Turtle Cheesecakei Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (3.9 oz) package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 1/4 c milk
  • 2 (3 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 (14 oz) package caramel candy
  • 1/2 c sour cream
  • 1/4 c evaporated milk
  • 3/4 c sliced pecans
  • 1 (9 inch) prepared chocolate cookie crumb crust
  • 1/2 c chocolate fudge topping

Directions
  • Step #1 Place caramels & evaporated milk in a heavy saucepan.
  • Step #2 Cook over med-heat/flame for about 5 mins, stirring constantly, until smooth.
  • Step #3 Stir in 1/2 c of the sliced pecans.
  • Step #4 Pour into chocolate crumb crust.
  • Step #5 In a mixer or food processor/blender, mix cream cheese, sour cream & milk.
  • Step #6 Process until smooth.
  • Step #7 Add pudding mix & process for about 30 seconds longer.
  • Step #8 Pour over caramel layer & put in the fridge 15 mins, or until set.
  • Step #9 Drizzle fudge topping over cake in a decorative pattern.
  • Step #10 Sprinkle top with remaining 1/4 c pecans.
  • Step #11 Refrigerate until ready to serve.
