Heart O'mine Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1 c rolled oats .
1 c butter, softened .
1 tsp vanilla extract .
1/2 tsp salt .
strawberry preserves .
1 c all-purpose flour .
2 (3 oz) packages cream cheese, softened

Directions

Step #1 Beat butter & cream cheese together until creamy.
Step #2 Blend in vanilla.
Step #3 Add flour & salt, mixing well.
Step #4 Stir in oats.
Step #5 Cover up dough & chill for one hr.
Step #6 Preheat oven to 350.
Step #7 Roll out on lightly floured board until 1/4" thickness.
Step #8 Cut with floured 2 1/2" heart shaped cookie cutter.
Step #9 Place on ungreased baking sheet.
Step #10 Press center with thumb & fill imprint with jam.
Step #11 Bake 16-18 mins until slightly golden.
