- 1/2 tsp baking powder .
- 1/4 tsp salt .
- 14-16 Hershey's chocolate kisses (remove paper) .
- 1/4 c margarine .
- 1/4 c shortening .
- 1/2 c packed brown sugar .
- 3/4 tsp baking soda .
- 1 1/4 c flour .
- 1 egg .
- 1/2 c creamy peanut butter
Directions
- Step #1 Preheat oven to 375°F In a large mixing bowl, shortening, peanut butter, margarine, mix sugars, & egg.
- Step #2 Beat till creamy.
- Step #3 Stir in the remaining ingredients.
- Step #4 Once thoroughly mixed, roll this into 1 1/2" balls.
- Step #5 Roll balls in a bowl of sugar, coating on all sides.
- Step #6 Place on a cookie sheet.
- Step #7 Bake 9-10 mins until golden brown.
- Step #8 Remove from oven & press a Hershey's Kiss into the center of each cookie while still warm.
